Something’s not right

Sundays

Sunday afternoon and Monday mornings.. tend to be my hardest times. My anxiety creeps in until it tries to over run my system.

I have weekends off work and go back each Monday. I generally like my work too. But I hate this feeling. I hate the hot flush and the sudden pounding in my temples.

Does this happen to everyone..?

Re: Sundays

I work lunches or dinners at a local club, and that hour before I start work is always the worst. Once I start, it tends to ease off, but I always start work sweaty and shaking.

Re: Sundays

I hate it when customers say 'have a good weekend' on Fridays....

I reckon they assume that everyone doesn't have to work on weekends...

I do some Saturday shifts but not many - covering for someone who's away

I work Mondays to Fridays

Do you work in a fruit shop? 🙂

Let me know

Re: Sundays

It makes it really hard to start. Once I start I’m okay too

Re: Sundays

I always have Sunday and Monday off (I usually work Tues-Saturday), so for me Monday is my "stressed about tomorrow's work" day. I've actually just had to get a long term medical certificate to cut down my working hours because I'm so anxious about working.

Re: Sundays

sounds good @AliL , but would your tuesday feel like a monday xoxo

Re: Sundays

Yes, definitely. I start stressing about my work week as soon as the previous one finishes.

Re: Sundays

@AliL

I’m usually okay once I get to work - there are times that I over analyse everything I do.. okay there’s lots of times.
