Hi @Shaz51
I am sorry you are having so much pain and having signs of diabetes and diabetic arthritis in your legs - this is not good
Actually - I didn't know that diabetes caused arthritis - I know how painful arthritis is and it does continue - I hope you can travel in the front seat in cars - this is better than trying to scramble in and out of the back seat when there is just not enough room
I am pretty sure you don't get much in the way of pain-killers for the arthritis pain - I know OTC stuff like antiinfamtories can help but the Poor Little Kidney might now be able to cope with that -
So tough that - how are things going for your kidney transplant. I keep thinking about that

Hi @Shaz51
Life can deal a rough hand at times - I know you are already on a limited diet and there are medications you can't use because of kidney problems - would there was something that could be done
I don't always get around to reading all the posts so I have no idea how your kidney transplant is going - and it seems so hard that all of this has gone on so long - you are a real Aussie battler and I really wish you could get a break -
Are you living with your Mum atm or is she in hospital - I remember she fractured her leg - at least I thought I read that - which would be hard for her to managed at home certainly - but I also think I read that she was at home - so I am not sure.
You do a great job caring for your Mum and Mr Shaz - I would be so kind if you could get a little care yourself
I do wish you the best Shaz - and I do know about osteo-arthritis - I have a lot of it - most from injuries I think - I inherited the tendency to develop arthritis from my grandmother who had it. I have it in my hands and feet as well as my damaged joints and spine. I know how testing it can be and I really feel for you

Hello my @Owlunar ❤❤☕☕
Took mum up to the hospital for a redressing of her wounds
Got back home and I fell asleep, soo tired
Yes you can only have a kidney transplant when you reach a certain level , soo I will have to keep on keeping on until I get to that level --- which means I have to get a lot worse before that happens
Mum has not been the same since she broke her hip and with ongoing bowel obstructions and now I think she is getting dementia
I am now mum's carer And we are living at mum's 10 weeks now since our house fire
