Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Good morning @Dimity ! You'll be up soon for your quote. 8.30am on a Saturday seems an unusual time!

I'm sad that tree was cut down.

2 1/2 hours of chores is excellent work. More than I've been doing.

I did end up taking the laptop to the computer shop - I was dumb and couldn't work it. The nice man helped me to set it up for no charge and answered all my questions. Now all I need to do is download a free spreadsheet programme and charge it up before Tuesday. The man said it was a very good laptop - I feel very blessed.

I wasn't sure I could complete all my errands yesterday, but ended up going home to get scripts and completing them.

I hope all goes well with getting the quote and you feel up to doing stuff today...

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Well done on yesterday's efforts @NatureLover , especially the laptop.

The fence quotes will be emailed. I didn't have as much confidence in today's fencer.

I've ordered some plants for the backyard, and potted up some succulents.

I felt I'd made progress.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Fingers crossed the new job is working out for you @NatureLover .

The support button isn't working again.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Sorry, @Dimity ! I thought I'd replied to you, and was worrying about you...only to see I hadn't actually replied!

Were you able to get your Covid booster?

It strikes me that if you think you need reading glasses, then you need reading glasses. You're the expert on your own sight.

I'm glad the home help was a good one.

I've had 2 quiet days of avoidance of responsibility at home. I feel I've been on the go every day since leaving my old job a month ago, so I think slowing down was needed.

Today I'm doing errands as I didn't do them on Friday, plus dog walking with a friend.

Sorry again for my mistake. Hope you are OK...

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Hello @NatureLover and thanks for getting back to me. I've been a bit out of sorts and was a bit upset over something that happened on another thread but I've processed that now. The support button often isn't working. I'm sorry I hadn't replied, I generally try to reply the same day and can lose track if I don't.

I was surprised yesterday when the counsellor asked if I needed to be in hospital - my low mood and brain fog are very different to what has landed me there in the past.  So I'll try to muddle on.

Are you settling well into the flow of your new jobs? Having a work commitment most days is a big responsibility.

Today is a quiet day, no appointments,  I'll potter around the house and try to catch up on my backlog. Dusting will be on the list.

Have a good day.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Hi @Dimity , sorry you had an upset on the forums.

I notice my second message to you didn't post...I wonder if it was the overnight "holding posts" thing, or if I did something wrong while posting. It was just showing concern for you and hoping I hadn't offended you.

I know what you mean about losing track if you don't reply straight away.

You obviously didn't agree about hospital. That's good you knew clearly.

My little job cancelled on me again, but not till I'd driven all the way there! So I still haven't started with them. It'll be next Tuesday now.

I was impressed you dusted yesterday! I only do the dusting when there's an inspection!

Dog walking today plus a bit of work for my main job. Rain is coming for days, which I'm dreading.

I hope you have a good day today.
