Don't give up. In the past, when jobs don't go too well, I look back and say that the job wasn't meant for me. 

I don't beat myself over it. 

Job search is a full time job in itself. I always keep my eye on the job market to see if anything interesting pops up.

Whilst you are studying, can you get a small job? That's if you needed one. I'm not sure if your studies require you to be there full time etc.

I have been looking at hospitality jobs as well as Laboratory jobs. however where I live it's almost impossible to land an interview. It's so over populated the one role I applied for had 3000+ applications and it seems to not go anywhere under 300 people. My Course part time and is Monday to Thursday Evenings 5pm to 9pm so ive got time in the morning.

Wow, that's a huge number of applications!  It's great you can do your cert in the evenings.

Hey @tyme , thanks for asking. I worked on a job application today but didn't finish. I am not sure my heart was in it. Anxiety is up and down worrying about lack of steady income. How are you going?

Hey Tyme, thanks for checking in. I am going well this week. I managed to get a phone call this week. But I wasn’t able to be considered as I am not an Australian citizen. But she informed me that I was a good candidate for the role and put me on a list to call for future jobs where I don’t need to be a citizen. So it gave me a bit of hope, my resume is working. I’ve just been focusing on my studies aswell and I am enjoying the content so far. But I just hope this work is enough for me to land a job soon.

@Vyv I totally understand that keep working on it tho. I’m sure you get the right job that suits you.

Oooh @whatcanido , as you said, at least it shows your resume is up to scratch. Remember to always provide a cover letter too. Often, employers receive CVs, but they don't actually know what the person wants.

@Vyv , job applications are DRAINING..... do you need to write selection criteria too?

@tyme yes, lots and lots of key selection criteria. It really annoys me when at least three are just the same question phrases slightly differently. The job application I started yesterday was partially lost when I woke up this morning (computer crashed) and I completely lost the will to finish it (it was due today).
