Hi all,
I’m looking for some feedback from anyone who has dealt with the Queensland Health Ombudsman. I was wondering if anyone could share their experience with the process.
I submitted a complaint 2.5 weeks ago and I have not received a response yet, even though they are expected to contact within 7 business days.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hey @Aftervare5191, thank you for sharing your experiences with the community!
Sounds like you are advocating for yourself which is amazing to see but I'm sure it is not easy and stressful. You are demonstrating your resilience and courage in seeking an outcome that you expect.
I haven't reported anything to my state Health Ombudsman, but I have to Consumer Affairs about a accommodation that treated me unfairly and not in accordance with their cancelation policy. Furtunately I came to a resolution with them and did not have to follow through with the complaint. Comsumer Affairs did contact me a within a couple of weeks and was easy to deal with at the time.
Not sure if this helps but I'm sure the communtiy will support you with your questions!
Take care

@Aftervare5191 Did you recieve anything like a reciept number, or an acknowledgement email? It's not as common these days, but sometimes the internet breaks down (or the service's website) and the message simply doesn't get through.
In any event, if you have a reciept number for your complaint, it's sure to come in handy if you need to chase this up.
