My divorced wife of 30 years passed away this week.
We have only seen each other at grandchildren events.
I’m trying to navigate good memories and hurts.
Our children will meet with a few of her friends in a close gathering of remembrance.
She didn’t want the normal funeral service. I want to be there but I’m not sure if I’m welcome and I don’t want to cause any trouble that my attendance may cause.
