Re: help and support

Hey @Nvrgvup, thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with the community!

It sounds like you are going through and tough time and feeling a little isolated from support right now. It takes real courage to speak up and ask for support and you are demonstrating that you are brave by reaching out.

At SANE we have the Guided Recovery if you have not heard of it and it's available for free to people in most of the county. I encourage you to check your eligibility and refer yourself into it if you are eligible. You can have 1:1 sessions with either a Counsellor or Peer Support Worker and attend Mental Health Recovery Groups.

Take care

Re: help and support

Welcome to the forums @Nvrgvup ,

I'm sorry to hear you don't have any help.

Even though we don't replace the clinical support, the forums are a place for you to connect with others so you feel less alone in what you are going through.

Also, the recommendations @RiverSeal made above are a great option too.

Let us know how you go.

You are not alone.

Re: help and support

Hello @Nvrgvup and welcome. You're here! You've reached out and you're on the forum.

I'm diagnosed bipolar but have started facing up to my long-standing cptsd. I'm starting to ease out of a long and severe depression although still socially isolated.

It sounds very difficult for you if you have no personal or MH supports. Unfortunately cptsd can sometimes limit us in reaching out, making it harder.

There are lots of interesting threads here including Our coping toolbox 🧰 and a dedicated space for discussing trauma  - I hope you can meet other members and feel comfortable here.

Best wishes
