Thank you to so many who have thought of me

supported me

been a part of my experience on these forums

I felt very emotional when I finally had the courage and strength to log back in

probably sounds silly and extreme

it is how I am feeling though...disconnected...a safety mechanism that is a very large part of who I am, I have discovered about myself in therapy

We are safe from fires, other family members and friends were not, none lost their homes

one person connected with our new home died.

Very distressing for our community.

Ups and downs with family as most of us experience..

very tricky with family member..

I am with my humongous tree and finally feeling a sense of being grounded for periods of time...a long time coming..

I am also with my soul fur baby...

I cannot write how I feel and what I want to say to each of you

I will leave you some hearts

this is not about you...this is about me..

please be kind and gentle with yourselves

@Sophia1  It’s so nice to see you. I was pleased to read you are safe from the fires, but sorry you lost someone connected with your new home. I guess to some degree, we are all connected to someone somewhere, sometimes through someone else. All so very sad.

I understand the disconnected safety mechanisms. We are complicated and simple. Contradictions, yet making perfect sense. Surviving trauma in amazing ways.

No doubt the move has taken its toll on you all, but you can put down roots now, make a home, a safe place. We all need that.

My fur baby is sitting beside me looking out the window. Loyal companion.

Always good to catch you when you can log in.

Thank you each and everyone of you for your kind and thoughtful comments..

It is so hard struggling with responses when not feeling well as I am sure most of you can relate to...

Then of course there is always the misinterpretation..

Well in my book if someone clicks on support and leaves a message that is the best..

So without further ado I thank everyone else who has supported or replied or included me in some sense...

I cannot put anything else into words presently...

There is no need to thank us - although that is always very much appreciated - as we include you, support you, respond to you and/or post replies because we want to and you matter to us.
